LIFE MOVES

 

 

Movement and Stillness dancing together complete each other and embody wholeness. Stillness naturally underlies our unique expression of creation.

This group will be experientially exploring  movement as meditation. By empowering the “watcher” or “witness” we are able to hold a field of awareness. The practice is in remaining present to what is moving in this moment, be it big , small ,internal or external .

We will be experiencing the body as a resource to support connecting with consciousness and creativity which resides within.

Practicing authentic movement— we invite being able to watch ourselves moving and while watching another moving.

We will explore self-regulation—ability to know our limits, boundaries and know when to go into action and when to rest and remain present.

We will play with Body scanning—bringing attention to where the body is in this moment through sensation, rather than interpretations and evaluation.

Allowing Expressive movement—permission for the movement and dance to express, move however it  wants while we remain present to the  “watcher”.

We will be Gathering tools—Experiential  Movement practices for remaining present to life’s dance in this moment!
