A LETTER IN RESPONSE TO TARIA WHO WAS ASKING WHO CREATED "DANCING WITH THE MASTER" IN BUDDHA HALL IN POONA: A DANCING MEDITATION THAT GAVE MANY MANY PEOPLE DELIGHT

HI Taria…. Yes, it was me who designed ‘Dancing with the Master’ for Buddha
Hall. Had many meetings with the inner circle before the Dance Meditation
was given the go ahead. Had felt the dance then in Pune was fading out and
wanted to create something new after leading African Dance. I absolutely
created it as a Dance Meditation. I felt it was needed in Pune we were
spiritually up with the times in offering embodied moving meditations. Instead of just dancing, I wanted to offer consciousness and share Osho’s
love of dance as meditation. Later we changed the name to ‘Dance
Celebration’ as I was asked to let go of the old name. Then in Koln Oshos
Centre I created a dance Meditation and called it ‘Divine Dancing Drunkards’. The music you choose is important ... Later in Buddha Groove in Pune after
had left Pune it became a Dance Event. I loved it that at least dance
stayed alive and well in Buddha (Ex Hall) Groove.

(Feel like its my baby grew on and up).

I choose music that offers clear meaning as its a meditation and not a
disco or high energy event. It’s for creating inner space and inviting the
dancer to become the dance. I never use co dependent music or any poppie
stuff. I take ages to prepare it as I tune each time to whatever event I
will lead. Lead it as a prayer ...inviting the dance to dance me and the
universe I really really thank you that you asked this!  And that I could
share my respect and love affair for this Meditation. A gift that Osho
shared and which was what attracted me to becoming a Dancing Disciple all
those years ago. It was always the dance!

Dancing with the Master... is still alive and well on the planet ! Music
you got me going... a little sharing what I look for is music with space
and earth which offer a music vocabulary for the dancer to let go and
have space to find your own dance... inviting the body to tune in and then
the space, soul, spirit or whatever you like to call it to dance the dance... The music helps inspire and wants to also let the dancer find their
own rhythm and timing, movement and stillness…
